I was born and raised in “The City of Brotherly Love” (Philly).  I graduated from LaSalle University in 1993 with a bachelors in accounting and got married that same year.    This December I will have been married to “The Love Of My Life”, Rhonda Dickson for 31 years.  We have lived in Brookhaven, PA for 29 years and have a 22 year old son, Isaiah, who just graduated from Cabrini University.  I worked in various corporate accounting & finance positions for 11 years.  But during that time I knew I wanted to follow in my father’s footsteps and go the entrepreneurial route.  So, in 1998 my wife and I started buying real estate in Philly.  We acquired 30 rental properties throughout the city.  Also, my wife, who was a mortgage underwriter, wanted to open a mortgage brokerage.  So, for 10 years we owned and operated our mortgage brokerage, “The Loan Source”, until the mortgage crash of 2008.  We eventually closed the doors of our mortgage brokerage in 2010.  While managing our rental properties and running our mortgage brokerage, I started doing some rehabbing and flipping of houses.   This eventually led to me getting my real estate license (with Better Homes Realty) and joining a partner in a HomeVestors franchise.  We have since sold our rental properties.  So, now my days are spent acquiring properties to rehab and flip through the HomeVestors franchise and doing traditional residential real estate.  I look forward to this next chapter and cultivating new relationships through Roc Hous Real Estate!
